LS all motor questions...
I thought a car I was looking at was a GSR, today I went and looked at it. Found out it was a LS. Well onto my questions...First would it be worth my time to build and all motor LS, or should I do a LS/VTEC (built correctly)? Also which would be cheaper? I am looking to get a new tranny for it also. I would prefer ITR but will take a GSR. Would an all motor LS be good with a GSR tranny?
GSR would be good in an all motor LS
Honestly, if you want to go all motor find a GSR. Its going to be very expensive to make an all motor LS fast.
If you want forced induction, the LS is a good candidate out of the box. It has longer gearing, and a lower compression ratio. Paired with the cheaper cost, you can take the extra money you save and invest in a turbo kit.

LS/VTEC is a powerfull allmotor setup. It will cost alot of money, and has the potential to be very unreliable if it is not installed perfectly.

Boost the LS. I have a fast all motor LS setup and its expensive. LS/Vtec can be expensive and unreliable compared to turbo.
