my friend just bought a 92 civic with a b18 and needs to change the oil
does anyone know how much he needs?

My B18CR takes 4.5 quarts.

You do know that you can just go to autozone or whatever and they will look up your oil capacity for you. Thats what I do everytime, I always forget.

my teg usually take 3.7 ish, i think its because i jack only the front of my car up, so it doesnt drain all the way

wtf are you talking about doesnt draina ll the way? I only jack the front of my car up and it drains fine. The drain plug is on the back of my oil pan, is yours on the side or something?

does anyone kno why my b18c1 wont staRT AFTER driving for a few minutes it will turn over but it wont start???

because its tilted, i think some of the oil is still in the head because it didnt drain down. not sure just my guess.

FYI, your local auto parts store can tell you. And it's 4.01 quarts. Just buy 4 and put it in.

My B18 takes almost 5 quarts. Id says its like 4.7 quarts or so.Just buy 5 quarts and you will have a little left for the next change.
