Running No IACV. Can you do it?

Default Running No IACV. Can you do it?

im building my car for drag. will not go out on cold days and what not. So does my car REALLY need the IACV or just can i block it off.

i have tuned a few cars w/o IACV's. they will run fine except you might have some issues when coming to a stop, as the car will try to shut itself off.

i drive my car on the street and i have the iacv shut off and disconected. the only thing is it wont idle when cold, i have to keep my foot on the gas for 1-2 mins.

it takes a LOT more time....but with out the IACV you can get the car to cold start and not shut off on decel with out an IACV. its a whole hell of a lot easier just to use one though...

Thanks for posting this...I was doing research on bypassing my IACV, but it doesn't look to be worth it

It definitely isn't worth it. Keep it. You will be a lot happier in the end.
