I have a type-r; stock except for a shift ****, mugen pedals, aem intake, and a cf hood... if i take off the cf hood would it put me into a diff auto-x class or would my other mods keep me in the same class?? -rob(who is going autoxing for the 1st time july 28th)

 

The hood will put you into Street Mod.

Without it, you will be in STX (unless that class doesn't exist near you).

I am in the same boat, but I am going to change to the stock hood. Of course, now I must ask myself: Why the hell did I buy that stupid thing?

Assuming you're going to the one in Norton AFB on July 28th, if so it is just a practice. It doesn't matter what class your car is in during practice. But your CF hood will throw you into SM during competition.
