just as the topic says.
im planning on getting JUN3 or skunk2 stage 3 cams.
the valvetrain i have on a b16a head is:
portflow retainers
portflow inners
ITR outers
ITR valves

would this setup be okay to run any of the above mentioned cams?
i heard its okay but want 2nd opinions
the head is not p/p.

why dont u just run skunk2 valvetrain with skunk2 cams and jun valvetrain with jun cams?

 

I wouldn't reccommend the Jun valvetrain on a daily driver, they've been known to wear out quickly and sometimes fail, but the cams make excellent power, check out the dyno comparisons on importbuilders.com. If you want to spend the money, the Skunk2 valvetrain will work, or if you want to save a little, the crower valvetrain will work also.

I have the jun valvetrain on my acr and i have well over 35,000 hard driven miles on it no problems.
