d16y8 d16z6 cam lift difference
i got a y8 from someone with a z6 cam in it.
so im wondering if its worth my trouble to swap out the cam to a y8 one i have laying around or should i just leave the z6 cam in there and run a different cam gear to make up for the timing difference

The Y8 has a much stronger low cam profile, and is (slightly) better in high cam. The difference in the high cam isn't worth swapping for, but riding before/after in a Z6 that recieved a Y8 cam swap I'd want that driveability for my car.
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I found this while Googling and I really hate poor/bad info.
