i have a 95 civic coupe with a b16A. blox racing log mani, precision sc61, 3"custom dp and exhaust. turbonetics wastegate. blitz BOV (someone else did this setup, i would have picked some part differently but w/e) any way my quetion is, how much power can a stock b16 handle? my car is currently at 270whp @ 9psi. how high have you seen people go on stock internals..safely. this is my daily driver. i drive roughly 6-800k a week, sometimes more. should i leave it the way it is...

p.s. no money to do internals.. buying house soon.. and houses are NOT cheap here in canada.

 

what grade fuel do you have access to? if you have a good tuner and good fuel 340whp should be ok, but if its your everyday car and you dont have a second car i'd personally keep it around 300whp

I agree. I've tuned several bone stock B's past 400whp but anything over 300whp is really pushing it.

 

i've had a b16a with t4 68mm with 880cc injectors, msd, and wald. 255 , pushing 374 whp on 15 psi for like a year daily driven on stock bottom end.

 

a b16 is like a 5 dollar *****,
it can handle anything you throw at it

 

ive had 390 on a bone stock one
