Default JDM 1.5 SOHC Vtec

ok i have a jdm 1.5 single cam vtec in my civic hatch cx it has
2 1/4 exhust
high flow cat
header
cold air intake
8 ilb flywheel
stage 2 clutch
light weight crank pulley
with a chipped p28 ecu

ok i have a few?'s
how do i get 2 step..?
what should my launch point be..?
i was thinking about shaving the head down 60,000ths what kinda power would that give me ..?
if i port and polish the head should i upgrade the fuel system..?
What else could i do to give me more power trying to go all motor no turbo...
with the cx motor i had in there i had to launch a 5,000 r's

just get a cam and some p29 pistons to raise the compression and why would you want 2 step on a na car you only want launch control you would have to get chrome or neptune or any other type of honda bin editor and reburn a new chip and insert it into your chipped ecu or if you want more power just get a d16 block buy my 1.7 liter stroker crank with ported race oil pump and all motor rods would give you some power in na

If I recall correctly you should be able to use pistons from the D16. The bored on a D15 is 75mm stroke should be 84.5. I am build a D15B7 so I came across this problem as well, Check out CP pistons hear good things about them for the price. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Hope I was helpful.

lol why did u set vtec at 3700 and redline at 9300..??? u kno on a dyno chart ur peak power is gonna start to drop way before that so all you're doing is potentially killing your motor..

not to mention engaging vtec so low makes you LOSE power down there and the powerband of that motor dies at 7k

the stock rev limiter is 7200 for a reason, christ a b16's rev limiter is lower than where you shift

actually the D15 is higher compression, its 9.5 to 1
and its 130hp vs. 125 for the z6

and the rev is 7200 - i miss that motor actually, felt faster than my current z6

60,000ths = .060"
...please do a little more research before milling your head that much. That's quite excessive.
