I have a 96 civic dx coupe. I swapped my front and rear brake to gsr disc conversion. I changed the proportional valve and master cylinder from an 99-00 civic si. The problem is my front brake pads drags against the rotors causing my car not to move normal. I have to replace brake pads every 3-4 months. Someone please help my with this problem. Thanks

it's it both front calipers or just one?

you might have a caliper that's sticking.

 

its usually the driver side but i changed the caliper as well.

 

oh im using gsr brake lines as well. does this got to do with the dragging. the lines are longer than the si's.

Id go with the above - sounds like you have sticky calipers!!

 

Didn't he say that he replaced the calipers? Could it be that he isn't compressing the piston on the caliper far enough?
