Hey guys, I am changing my head gasket on my 94 civic with a D15B7 motor, is it possible to use a D16Y7 headgasket with that motor, the dealer has that headgasket half the price.

 

i would have to say yes, b/c when you do a mini me swap with a y8 head on a b7 block you use the y8 head gasket right? yes you do and the y7 and y8 head gasket have the same part # they just charge you more for the y8 b/c it comes up vtech so all and all yes it will work and line up with no problems just get new head bolts dont reuse your old ones
