can i use a y8 head gasket on a y7 head
hey guys, im opting out in selling my complete mini me swap i had ready for my y7, now im looking to take my head off and bump compression a little bit with a y8 headgasket, then portmatching both the intake and exhaust ports on the manifolds and my head, and portmatching my throttlebody to my intake mani.
All this in plans to get ready to slap a turbo on this bad-boy
MY QUESTION IS THOUGH CAN I USE A Y8 HEAD GASKET ON MY Y7 HEAD??

are you sure the part numbers are the same? i was under the impression that a y8 head-gasket would give me a little tiny bit more compression

y7 and y8 is essentially the same motor except for the obvious differences in the head, so I wouldn't be surprised if they both shared a headgasket.
