Default Lots of oil coming out exhaust, is a oil restrictor needed?

I'm just setting up a new turbo setup on my gsr. The turbo is a precision sc50, not new but completely refurbished by Blaast Performance. I have a -3 Earls stainless feed coming from a edelbrock sandwich adapter. The return could be a problem, it is -12 however may have a slight kink. The return is coming from the bottom of the turbo straight out to a 45 degree fitting into my pan.

Does that oil feed need a restricter? Is a slight kink going to cause a puddle of oil to pour out of my downpipe?

when does it smoke?

if it doesnt smoke during load, but smokes afterwards it might be bad seals

u checked to see where the oil is coming from?

if its a BB turbo it doesnt need much PSI, so i would run a restrictor on it, if so

I still have to get an exhaust made so I'm running open downpipe right now. I can see the oil dripping onto the floor right out of the downpipe. The Precision SC50 is not a ball bearing turbo, so I have no idea what that means about it needing a restrictor.

The car was only turned on for about 60 seconds after I put it all together and it was only at idle it never saw load. As soon as i saw oil I turned it back off and came here. Thanks

The oil problem has been fixed, i completely changed the setup for the oil return and went with different fittings and rubber hose. I actually had to downgrade from my expensive fittings and braided hose to stop the kink, they were just too big. The sandwich plate was also leaking which is suspect for the oil dripping.

After getting it all going I ran it for a few minutes at idle, gave it some gas and coolant started gushing out the back. It's not coming from a hose so i suspect because of the force it's squirting out at it's got to be my new cometic headgasket. Should have gone with OEM, I hate cars.

Dont get so discouraged. I had to take a break awhile back because i was feeling the same way. I to have stopped buying cometic gaskets, in my opinion they are garbage but to each there own. Now that i look back i have spent over 500 dollars on head gaskets...........

^^Haha, damn thats a lot of headgaskets. i talked to a knowledgeable guy tonight who says I likely blew the headgasket because i used copper spray on the gasket and i didn't have my head machined. Thats a real **** off because my shop insisted I must use copper spray with a cometic headgasket on an un-machined head..
I hate conflicting advice from two good sources.
