Default Smog? high HC.... Need some help

Ok so here is the deal. I have failed smog due to high HC at idle only, everything else is passing fine. Question is what can be causing the excessive unburned fuel at idle? I have done the simple stuff to try to fix it but I have had no luck. So far I have replaced spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, O2 sensor, cat. converter, egr has been checked and all sensors have been checked. I got to be missing something. Anyone that has had this problem or knows about this problem please help me out. I got to get this thing passed. TIA

Can you post your results of all the gases when you did your smog test? That'll help everyone out and see where you're at w/ your prelude.

And btw, I find it hard to believe that your prelude underwent a 2-speed idle test. Are you sure you're not mistaken for doing the Accelerated Simulation Mode?

pull your injector rail and injectors and turn your key on to get pressure from the pump (don't crank the engine). Now this only works if you can keep your injectors tight in the rail. Get a fuel gauge to see if you loose pressure. The point of removing the injectors is to find which one is leaking. Or you can pick up a set of new injectors for a good price. Also check your fuel pressure regulator to make sure its keeping the right pressure.

wel since u replaced all the secondary ignition then that cant b it...it could be worn intake cam lobes or worn exhaust cam lobes...or it may b a vacuum leak or and exhaust leak before the 02 sensor
