Default A/C Kit?

I was looking on majestic honda's website and seen they have a "A/C kit". Does it come with everything to add a/c to a non a/c car? I was thinking about buying it.

It appears to be comprehensive, and for almost $500 it should be.

$500.00 doesnt seem to bad, i dont think. Not when you can have all brand new OEM a/c parts.

Wait, it does not show that it comes with switches/relays and whatnot.

It kinda looks like a "replace everything from an old car's A/C with nice new working parts" kind of kit. Not so much a "add A/C to your non-A/C EF."

Did your car come factory with A/C? Do you still have the wiring and dash switch?

I guess not when you consider how much those parts probably cost individually. A/C stuff can get really expensive. However, you could probably get a kit from someone who pulled theirs for less than half that.

Call them, typically the "A/C kit" is complete i.e. everything you need to add a/c to a non-a/c car

When I worked for Acura, when the cars became leftover models, the A/C kits would go down in price sometimes down to a few hundred dollars or less. A lot of times it was cheaper to buy the whole kit than to just buy a compressor alone and we got all of that other stuff for "free"

Could be a retrofit kit for r134a...so it might only have the compressor, lines, dryer, accumulator, evap and condenser coils

...maybe...that's what it looks like in the pic...just another guess

It's no longer available through Honda anyway.
