i have a 00 civic si em1, engine b16a2.

what is the piece that connects to the MAP sensor? i need to replace it somehow.

heres a pic, the piece im looking for is circled in green

 

the grey connector itself? Your best bet on that is to find a harness that you cant cut it off of the just wire it to yours.

 

the thing is, inside that gray piece thingy, theres 3 wires connected to it coming from the black tube, one of them is cut, the only thing i can think of doing is opening up the wire and sodder the wires together. would that work?

 

as long as you can make the connection somehow it should work then.

 

yea, the only problem is... i dont have the soddering tools lol so i was seeing how much i could get that piece for.

u can get one for like $20 at radioshack if you wanted.

 

for that gray connector thing? it has to fit into the map sensor..

 

can anyone else give me some imput on this? anything will be helpful.
