Default how to convert a p28 ecu auto, to a manual tranny ecu

i have a d16z6 engine manual tranny and i bought this car from a lady, but it has a auto tranny ecu p28 ,, and that results in my check light goes on.. all the time.. stays on , the code it gives me is 19 which that code is only for the auto tranny. so need some help and if someone have pics of how to do it, thanks.

i tried searching for the thread i remember reading on how to do it, but i couldnt find it... i know that you must run a jumper wire from one area to the other... sorry i couldnt be more help

on the bottom right of ecu there is a set of resistors RP17 and RP18 remove both of them and just solder a piece of wire across RP17

x2, i'm currnetly running a p28 i converted from auto to man and its been fine, just make sure you solder well.

Incorrect. Remove rp18 & rp17 & solder a jumper on rp18.

There are ALOT of posts on here about how to do it, on the other hand I drove my Civic with a D16z6 with a code 19 for almost a year

now lets say that i do that!! will my car pass the emission test tho, i live in california and you know how it is!!
and also will this change affect the vtec system?
