just did a obd1 gsr swap into my 93 eg and was wondering what engine harness was better to use or easier to work with. I plugged up the stock gsr engine harness and i kept getting code number 3 which is the map sensor and had bad throttle response should I use the stock Eg engine harness to fix the problem??

depends on your year eg, some was mounted on the firewall, but im sure your is on the t/b since you have a gsr, but where mine was on the firewall i ended up having 2 connectors for the map (the firewall and the engine harness one). If yours is the same try switching them, if you map is bad you'll have to get a new one a harness wont fix that problem.

 

its a 93 dx yeah i have a plug thats on the fire wall that fits on the map sensor makes the code go away but makes the engine run like ****
