well a while bacl like a month ago i got a ref tiecket for modified emmisions and exhaust... i barely recieved the amount which is 483.. if i swap it back to d series ang ref it .. will i still have to pay the amount?... plz help.... thanx

 

depends, if it checked fixable on your ticket then yes. If not then you'll have to do the swap and still pay that amount.

 

but my freind got the same ticket and he just paid the amount and didnt deal with the ref and all that.... so i was guessing that if i take it with the ref and pass smog then wouldnt it take sum of the amount off.. because whats the whole point of fixing it and taking it to the ref and still paying when u can just pay and not deal with the ref.

 

your friend paid for the BAIL ammount, which is like an excuse to get away with it until you get caught again. But as far as fixing it and not paying the fine, i am not sure.

 

well i hope i can get off easy ... my record is clean.... so hopefully.......

 

if you fix it and pass ref'd, you will only be paying $10-$20.
