just don't tailgate anyone (i.e. so close the airflow to the front is decreased).

You really shouldn't have any problems unless there's something already wrong with the car.

you shouldnt need to do anything unless your either running a high hp, or have a cooling issue. I have done plenty of 300-350whp hondas with stock cooling system, and a 180 thermostat.....as long as the cooling system and fan functions correctly then you should be good, I would probly upgrade to a fluidyne or a similar product for a 400+whp car, but besides that I wouldnt think of putting a fan switch in the car, your computer will cover your cooling fan on/off time very well.

Like stated above, you should be fine if you built it right.

If you're in the summer, to lower your temps, try running distilled water with a bottle of water wetter. No coolant. Don't do it all year though, the water can still freeze and crack your block, and the corrosion protection is very limited when using this much water.

if the OP is like me, he is worried about his oil getting too hot and thinning out.

i am going to run an oil cooler in the very near future.

as long as you're not beating the hell out of the car the whole trip it should be fine.
