my spedometer hasnt been working and im guessing it is the speed sensor and i was wondering since my odometer isnt working if that would be because of the speed sensor as well?

 

first thing is to check your vss and see if its plugged in..
second if it is to go check the inside dash fuse #15 to see if its blown
third is to test out ur alternator since it shares the same fuse as the vss
start your car and unplug the negative from your battery and see if ur car still runs..
if your car still runs, fuse#15 is not blown, and the vss is plugged it then check ur gauge cluster for any loose connections..
if everything is all well then find someone with an eg and borrow their vss and use it for yours.. if it works then its ur vss thats not working.. so buy a new or used one.
