Default Brake Pads: Are inside different from outside pads? HELP PLEASE :)

Here's the story folks, I bought these AP Racing pads from HK when I was there.

I put one side in, no problems. The other side, it seems the inside pad is too thick, and is causing the disc to interfere with the caliper.

Are inside different from outside? They look the same to me, and are not marked.

If they are, I need to switch them. Problem is, I can't seem to get the inside pad out of the bracket.

HELP!

Thanks for the responses guys, I finally got them to fit. The cylinder was a bit stuck, and I had to fight with it to get that extra bit of play. Calipers must be getting old.

BTW inside and outsider ARE the same.

My thoughts on the AP Racing pads on white-box rotors: I think you really have to heat them up before they become really effective. For normal street driving, they actually seem a little less grippy than OEM.
