which head should i use?
i have a b20 and im doing all motor..i was thinking about using a gsr head, but i also heard that the b16 head will hit harder especailly when im doing all motor..im not pretty sure what i want..cant decide..
thanks
thanks
if you put the work into the block to hold the revs the b1 head is rev happy and flows great...if you are going all motor just go type r or poor mans type r or k series - lots of options -
also keep in mind it may not have the torque or hp stock as the b18's the b16 block does have nearly ideal r/s ratio

There are many arguments as to which head produces the best flow.

i have a b20 with gsr head and i love it. b20 vtec is killer. get some toda vtec killer cams, blox IM, and a good header and you'll be well on your way to a beast. a b20 is like a gsr bored .20 over

You're absolutely correct about that setup, but toda vtec killers are a little much for a street-driven car

Before i went k i had a b20 with a gs-r head on it and i had no problem making evo and sti owners go
everytime we ran, but even well built b20s don't like 10.5k revs that much. Either way you won't be disappointed
