Default JDM h22a dry 60 shot traction issues... vids included

Went to the track again this past weekend this time around ran some 205/55/14 nitto drag radials .. running varying pressures of as low as 10psi and high as 15 . either way just couldnt get it to hook like id like and it was killing my trap speed lowering the psi anything below 15... i was running 2.2 or so 60s sometimes worse and that is not any better than just runnin my stock tires... i ran a 13.6. @105 2 weekends ago on just the stock 205/55/15 ecsta AST ... but only progress ive noticed the drag radials totally eliminated my violent wheel hop issue.

after watching the vids i noticed the rear end squatting entirely too much my weight transfer is terrible. im on stock springs with kyb gr2s .... this could be my issue can anyone give some insight and some suggestions...

here are the vids enjoy

nice time. whats your elevation? I would invest in some new springs and motor mounts.

looks to me that you need to heat up the drag radials better and launch higher.
make the rear suspension stiff as possible as well to keep the car from sagging.

naw gr2 are basically stock replacements so u can't adjust them. I am not a expert but look into better springs that puts the front lower than the back and has a stiffer spring rate for the rear. That way when u take off the front wheels are still on the floor other than lifting up and spinning out. and yes maybe some motor mount inserts would do u some justice too. my .02

Hey I'm in BR. Anyways, I would wait to spray later. I can hit about 2.2 60' ft times on BFG g-force sports. Dont just drop the clutch. You have to ease off at first then just drop it. If you are having bad wheel hop try replaceing the front strut/radius rod bushing. Really cheap/easy mod that will help out.
