quick hg question

im removing my cylinder head to swap in a rebuilt head, with some goodies (camshaft/gear), I know it's a good idea to change out the headgasket but I beleive it's fairly new and still has some life to it. What are your feeling on changing it, and how much should I be looking to spend on one? Kind of a lame post, but I wanted to hear some live feedback. Thanks.

You never ever re-use head gaskets unless it was a new gasket and the motor was never ran. They're a 1 time deal. Just ask all the idiots who re-used the headgasket when they converted their LS/VTEC motors and had it blown.

btw how do you like your setup that's in ur sig? my project is similar to what you have. except im running a jdm d15b and will only be running a stage 1 cam and with no p&p. but similar other than that...
