OK. crx with 96 GSR motor. ....few wierd things are going on that we can't figure out...
1. if you connect the reverse light plug that is on the tranny...and put the car in reverse...once the reverse lights come on, the car sputters and check engine light comes on! if plug is disconnected....no CEL when going into reverse.
2. at idle...when car is reved quickly, after a few times, when go to rev the motor will cut out and CEL will come on and car just dies! BUT...no code is thrown through the ecu..it does not blink any codes! we have no idea anymore why it is doing this?
the ecu is a b16 computer..idk if that has anything to do with it...but we ran a different gsr on the ecu in the crx and it never did this....
any ideas or suggestions would be great!! thnx!

just found the problem.... the screw that holds the rotor on inside the distributor was completely backed out somehow!!!
so put the screw back in, tightened everything up....car is good to go. no more CEL and no more dying car for no reason!
