yo wuzzup everybody... I have a 2004 civic si. Im in the planning stages of what i want to do, and i wanna be smart about it. i really dont have issues with spending some loot if its gonna be worth it. I love type r's and i always wanted to swap a type r into my civics that ive had. but i dont know what to do. I considering just building up the k20a3 for turbo and then i think about jus putting in a k20a and jus run boost on those stock internals. which would have the better results???

 

I'd do a3 boosted or k20a n/a.

 

K24A1. They are cheap, and can make nasty power under boost.

 

thanks. i appreciate the input. K24? eh? sounds interesting. I get where your going with that. what worries me about the a3 is that the vtec is not the same like on the a2 or DC5 type R k20. but i know the low compression on the a3 is good for boost. Im usually never this indecisive. i do know that i wanna boost. if you know anyone that has actually done the swap or built up an a3 for boost definitely let me know his experience.

 

boost ure stock a3 and get an a2 and swap it in. a boosted a2 is pretty damn quick
