Every type-s i've heard is like a high-pitched noise, and mine sounds like, well, compressor surge (fluttering air, iirc). I'm 99% sure i have it hooked up right, a vaccume hose into the top (bigger) nipple, no? Please someone help!

 

Try a different location in the IM for your vacuum. If not, make sure your valve is adjusted properly and not too tight.

 

Ill try relocating vac. As far as valve, are you talking about the top one thats hard/soft? i tried all the way hard, all the way soft, and in the middle, all the same.

 

Yea the one on the top. I had a similar problem with mine and could not get it to blow off worth a damn. The vacuum location on the intake manifold wasn't strong enough from where I was pulling it from.

 

i got everything running from the map sensor's line, ill try somewhere else.
