Best Way to get high 13's/low 14's
I have a 91 si with a stock a6.. and i was just curious what you guys would suggest.
I would like to keep gas milage and reliabliity. Don't worry about the price. I realize the rule of thumb: cheap, fast, reliable- pick 2

If you want to keep the a6...boost that bitch. Give it a search and you'll find more than a few guys on here with single cam turbos. Been in a couple and they are fun
high 12's low 13's, boosting the a6. simple set up, HF mani, 14b turbo, 450 dsm injectors, intercooler, 1st gen dsm BOV, 3inch exhaust, some tuning and you are ready to do. The 14b spools crazy fast, and your MPG's will actually go up. Very reliable set up too, just dont scimp on the tune.

what i told you is what i did. i ran a 13.6 at 106 shitty 60 foot. it definetly makes for a fun car. and wicked cheap. i think my whole setup ran me just under 500, that was without the tuning.
well my main problem with boosting is trying to piece everything together... i'm a noob... i suck at life.. lol.. but nitrous seems easier and i'm just trying to get my hands dirty.. but idk
With a 50 shot on that motor with a vtec head you might get int o the high 14s.
If money doesn't matter get a full type-r swap, reliable low 14s maybe high 13s
and 30+ mpg.

well my plan is to start at 50 and move up to maybe 100 shot. but anyway.
whats a full type r swap?... k series?
money is and isnt a problem... i don't mind spending alot of it on my car... but as far as car fund goes, i'm making maybe 75 a week... remember, thats money into my car..

What clutch & flywheel were you using? I'm trying to figure out what stage Competition Clutch to go with with just a stock motor and slicks.

Yep speed cost money, how fast do you want to go?

Well I'm currently working on getting my sohc vtec together. So I have a z6 head and a p28 waiting. but past that, I have like 100 bucks a week to put into my car..
