Flowmaster Muffler
Anyone have the Flowmaster 60 Series Delta Flow muffler on your car? I was considering it and I just wanted to see what kind of review it got by some of you who may have it.
I'm pretty sure that's the muffler I have. It's pretty quiet, with a deep, throaty tone. It can be a little raspy at certain RPM's if you have a test pipe, but you shouldn't use those anyway
. Here's a few pics of it on my car. This is without the tip, I have pictures with the tip if you would like.

Just for fun.

Have you ever heard a fart can? If you had to describe it in words, would you use quiet, deep, or throaty? NO!
Fart cans are usually made with cheap packing material, and are usually always a straight through design. Combining these two things makes for a very loud, buzzy, raspy tone at ALL RPMs.
The Flowmaster 60 series mufflers are a chambered design, which greatly reduces volume over a straight through unit, as well as produces a lower tone.
The only time I experience any raspy sound at all, is between 3200-3900 RPMs, and it is very minimal. I am using a test pipe at the moment, which I believe is the cause of the rasp. The use of a stock cat would make the exhaust sound pretty close to stock, just a deeper tone and a bit louder.
This is all with an H22 of course. The sound is very similar too my old F22, except when in vtec.
It is a safe choice if you want something inexpensive, without sounding ricey.

I had it on my 95. Flowmaster made an axle back and I had that. Sounded nice and wasn't ricey. I like my Apex'i better, but Flowmaster was nice.
