I know i will have some wiring to do with this swap but which wires will i need to extend etc. Like vtec i know i will have to extend some wires for it but what else must be done since the engine is OBDII and the car is OBDI?

 

well first off there is no 98 si motor. i think u mean the b16a2 that came in the 99-00 si. y not just get a b16a which is obd1???

 

he's talkin about the canadian SI, american (EX), which is the D16y8

 

yeah exactly the cdn si which is a sohc vtec thanks for the know how... so any help on what needs to be done for the swap?

 

b16a is what i will be getting but for now i need to put an engine in it with low funds and i already have this 98 si block in my garage so.
