I just need to know where I would locate the VTEC Solenoid under the hood supposedly somewhere near the distributor cap on a Honda Accord 2K Coupe 2.3L EX Ulev 5-Speed. If someone can please tell me specifics it would be nice! If you would happen to know where the ECU is located you can tell me that as well?

how about the ecu where the vtec controller wire comes out of with a 12v + charge when the vtec engages!

It engages in 3rd gear.

That's all you need to know.

 

you can tap the wire from the ecu, but I dont' think it's 12v

the ecu is behind your radio on the floor.. it's a bitch to get to and unless you feel like bending over in weird angles i would just leave it.. after I got my vafc installed i swear never to go into that area again =P

yeah it is... i can point it out to you where it is but it's kind of hard to describe...

ok standing in front of your car looking at the engine bay, it's on the left of your valve cover, about 2-3" tall cylinder shaped, with something like a tiny cap on top wires coming in and out of it. the green wire is the one you should tap into.. i'm describing it from vague memory so i can be off...

 

on a b16a it's actually on the head, next to the exhaust cam!!
