~~HELP! Do I need this part? or can I do with out?? in LS-vtec Turbo
*Sorry I don't know the name of the parts.
I don't know if not having that little "part" in there will mess up the oil distribution? Can anyone help? Will it work with out it? Do I need that part... if so where can I get it? (and what does it look like?)
This is off a b16 head. Will be used in ls vtec turbo set.
Here are some pics:
Thanks for taking the time to help me!

Would anybody out there know the product number on that? I went to a Honda dealership and they told me I had to buy the whole head.

looks like the cam cap #3. the dowel/oil ring. yes you need it. i believe that supplies the oil for your vtec. without it vtec may not work..
yes you need.
fyi, you can use an upper o ring from a fuel injector as the o ring around the dowel. ive been doing it for years

are the o-ring and dowel needed for a gsr (p72) head as well ?
so there's an o-ring for each oil orifice pin on the cam gear side, one under cam cap #3 and one in the center oil feed in the block .. any more ?
