All Motor / Naturally Aspirated No power adders

V-tec all sudden no engaging??????????????

Default V-tec all sudden no engaging??????????????

Well I was on my way home from work and down shift with an accord and literally beat him and we did it again and this time he was side by side all of sudden and I realize my v-tec wasnt even engage. ANy reasons or what it could be?

Built ls-vtec with p28 ecu. I check my v-tec solonoid was still intact?

***, no but before when i was low on oil my oil light came on but this time its not on so I didnt think about my oil being low. I cant check on my oil becuase i have a b16 dip stick and running a ls block, dip stick too short but I will check my oil.

Wait for the light, add a quart, that is what most engine builders do.

Your next thread will probably be why your block is knocking or smoking or something bad.

Probably low on oil.

thats what i use to do with my 89 escort battle wagon,with 240,000 on the clock it was on its last leg anyway.

Way to go. They sould make this a stickey, so we will "all" know that it takes oil to make VTEC work. And i thought it was all in the ECU.
You can do another post later about that tapping noise. I think that will be battery voltage, or lack of it.

Just lock up that dumb vtork and then you won't need oil
