Default how to change a timing belt on a 2000 civic ex 1.6L V-Tech D16y8

Can anyone send me specific info on how to install new timing belt. trying to do this myself. It would greatly be appreciated.

turns out the timing belt is almost new and checked out fine. car starts right up but still doesn't explain why there is a knocking coming from inside the valve cover.

No a timing belt would not cause that.
If its more "tapping" than "knocking" (because thats a specific thing) you need to do a valve adjustment / adjust your valve lash.
Search for the how-to, as i described earlier.
