Default Clutch pedal problem

About a week ago my clutch pedal lost pressure, not completely just enough that it didn't pop back up as quick, I checked and I was low on fluid so I added some pumped the pedal and got the pressure back. A couple of days later same thing only this time the reservoir was almost empty so I did the same thing and got the pressure back. A friend told me to check the slave cylinder since I didn't see any leaks around the reservoir and it was wet around there so I go to get in the car today to go pick up the part and the pedal went all the way to the floor and didn't pop back up, the reservoir was empty yet again but now I can't get the pedal back up so I can go pick up the part. I refilled it, I manually pumped it then unscrewed the bleed valve on the slave cylinder but still no pressure at all. Any suggestions? BTW it's a '91 Honda Accord

I had a similar problem not too long ago.My advice would be to replace both your clutch master and slave cylinders. You should be alright after that.

Well I replaced the slave cylinder cause I saw fluid by the transmission and the boot was tore. After I replaced it I noticed I still wasn't getting pressure come to find out the line that goes to the slave cylinder was broke so I need to replace it. Any ideas where to find this? I called a junk yard and he said they didn't have it.

You should also replace the clutch master cylinder.

I went to Auto Zone and took the line and they found one that matched up... everything is working fine now except I need to bleed it some more, the person helping me had to dip out for work so didn't get to finish but I can drive it now just the pedal doesn't have much pressure. I went and bought one of those one man bleeding tools but that just ended up making me lose more pressure so I'm stopping while I'm ahead.

The master cylinder looked fine, no leaking anywhere. I might replace it anyway next week but for now everything seems to be on track just need to finish bleeding it.

Had a similar problem, but no leak spot near any of the cylinders. I replaced my clutch hose, it was leaking where the flange was, why i don't know maybe cause its a 14 year old part and a virgin? Don't know if it's the same set up as the 4th gen preludes but the leak could be coming from there and making its way near your leaking area. Just look at the the master cyl. and follow the hard line going to the slave and some where in between that path there should be a line similar to a brake line/hose or vise versa from the slave to master, whatever way you want to look at it. Worth taking a look at maybe? good luck
