Brake Job Question
So I'm thinking about doing the brake job myself. No big deal, but my question is for the DIY'ers do you turn the rotors when you change your pads or do u just do a pad slap or replace them when you change the pads?
if you felt pulsation in the brake pedal, have the rotors turned or replace them. if they look like they have heat spots or cracks, replace them. they should look smooth and not have deep grooves.

The FAQ's do.
The FAQ's do.
I'd replace them, most brake or machine shops will charge you $10-$20 a rotor to get them turned. That works if you're not in a hurry, but if you are and only have 1 car it's easier just to slap on some new ones.
