Brake work problem/question...! HELP!
Hello everyone,
i've been hearing grinding from my driver side brakes. i take a look at the rotors and it has deep gash lines that appear to be from the brake pad. what is it that i have to replace??? thanks!

you should take it in.
Your brake pads are down to the metal
Metal on metal = gashes on the rotor.
Your going to need new brake pads and rotors.

sure u can do it urself, about 60 bucks for pads and rotors at autozone

If your lucky, it could just be the wear indicator on the pad scraping the rotor, no harm done, just replace the pads.
