there are great aftermarket options on the market nowadays

you are running oem axles currently?

check out http://www.driveshaftshop.com -- they have good options, reasonably priced.

Someone needs to make a sticky about preloading.

OP is your car lowered? The axles were designed for OEM style ride height's.

Preloading; push in clutch, put tranny in 1st gear, pull up hand brake, keeping thumb on button, let clutch out until you feel it begin to grab, while keeping rpm's up and pushing your anti-lag button. When the last yellow light comes on, lower the hand brake, let the clutch out, let off the button, keep the rpm's up, all at the same time.

BTW if you see the green light, you loose.

Hint; duct tape the hand brake button in.

Got it ?

Check alignment of your suspension parts, Is your car lowered a lot ? The CV joints need to be some what level during the rapid spinning. Think about the angles your creating.

IMO almost 4inches is a lot when your talking about this.

By alignment issues I meant the 4" drop. raise the car to more like a 1-2"drop IMO.

At the speeds your traveling, not really. You may want to raise the rear a bit too.

It's more important to stop breaking axles.

i took a die grinder to the teeth that hold the ebrake. i pulled the ebrake until it was really tight, then went two teeth below that and ground the rest smooth. works really well. this way i can use it to hold the car on the trailer and it won't get in the way when staging.
