B16 OR D16Y8... WITCH ONE?!?!?!?
Whats your budget?
Whats your plan for horsepower?
Reliability?
Boost?
N/A?
Whats the car's intended use?
Answer these questions first before anyone call tell you anything.
Right now, all you're thinking about doing is swapping out a slow engine for a barely faster engine.

From my opinion: If you already have a Y8 in your Crx, keep it for now. If your a hp guy, build the b16 up slowly then drop it in your Crx, sell the y8 for money in case you need money
I have a stock 1st gen b16, what can I do for it to make more power, but stay street legal.
I was told the cams are good for 15-20 hp
supercharging it was a way i was going to go..

Get all bolts-on and port the head. that should be fine already for a b16. but if you want to go all out then fix every little part
