Wheel stud options....................
I have a 1995 Civic EJ1 coupe with a '98-01 ITR 5 lug. The 5 lug is the JDM version with the larger hub, axle splines, and 36mm axle nut. The person I bought it from 3 years ago had put "extended" wheel studs in the rear, but not the fronts. These studs are OE style and not aftermarket ones such as ARP or Skunk. These extended studs are exactly 1/2" longer than the front ones. The seller didn't tell me what the application was for the "extended" wheel studs.
I recently had my front wheel off and accidentally cross threaded a lug nut and wheel stud. I ended up having to break the stud, so now I am running with 4 out of 5.
So when I go to replace the front studs, I would like to go with longer studs, but not the extended studs that ARP or Skunk sells that require the use of open ended lug nuts. Even though my rears are 1/2" longer, I still can use closed ended tuner lug nuts. And I want to continue to use closed ended tuner lug nuts.
So I am looking for wheel studs that are 1/2" longer than normal, but meet all the other specs such as M12 x 1.5, etc. for Honda and Acura. What are the OE or aftermarket possibilities?
Thanks!!!

You can buy OEM RL or TL (can't remember which) studs. They are slightly longer than stock Civic/Integra studs. There was a picture on H-T a while back comparing the two, but I can't find it.
Thanks for the heads up on the Acura TL.
I researched further and found that the rear wheel studs from the 1996-1998 Acura 3.2 TL are the ones to go with. They are 1/2 inch longer than stock. I believe those are the ones I have in my rear hubs.
The part number for the 3.2 TL rear studs is 90113-SD2-005. You could put these on, have the benefits of longer studs, but still keep a more subdued look with closed ended lug nuts.
