Default Larger Injector question

Prepare yourself for some noob questions

I can get a set of rc 650cc injectors right now. Should be pushing 190whp-200whp on the motor and about 280whp on nitrous. My question is it ok to run such large injectors with this setup? will i constantly be flooding my engine with fuel by running them? I have a hondata s200, can i tune my injectors to use less fuel when not spraying and more when spraying? Suggestions of what size i should be using? Like i said, i can get them for a really really good price in my city which is why i need to know.

They both sound way to large to me. You can run larger injectors but you are going to have tune.

I have slightly larger injectors on my lude but they are only 370cc.

they're too big, but a good tune should balance things out.

600cc+ injectors are usually for people running turbo.

Just a heads up guys i would not be running these injectors until i am on the dyno getting my car tuned for nitrous control. 550cc are not an option since i am picking these off of a friend. 650cc's are all he has.

I have seen turbo cars that have made under 300whp use this size and they have been fine. I will be making 270-280whp when spraying to i am going to need some large injectors to support the power.

They are saturated as well so that means after they are installed and tuned i can take the resistor box out as well correct?

Can't you use a "two timer" setup(not sure if you can with s200 setup as I have never seen or used one)? Its something that goes in your ecu that allows you to toggle between two programs/bins at the flick of a switch.

I'm unfamiliar with s200 but with crome and a burn1 unit as well as the two timer with a second chip, you can run two separate programs when you need it with little effort.

That might be the best solution rather than just having one all rounded bin/maps.

Than your car will run properly when not using nos, and when using nos, (ie. your going to drag) than switch to your other program.

I hope s200 can accomidate that, but as far as I know s200 is pretty much a standalone though right???

Good luck either way man.

edit* you got local tuners?? I need to go atleast an hour and a half to find a tuner in Toronto or London.

lol really? thats most likely to the insane rate for office space in Toronto. You guys have some of the highest in North America. We used to have 4 shops in Edmonton. Now i think there are 2 that have dyno's. I am actually driving 1.5 hours down to Red Deer to get my car tuned so it isn't locally that i am getting my car tuned.

I'll look into what you suggested.

Can I tune the injectors to spray more when spraying and less while DD'ing? Isn't that what happens with a turbo setup? When in boost more fuel is spraying rather than when just DD'ing?

ok i just spoke to my tuner. I am going to just go with some 450cc injectors. Just to make sure though, running some DSM blue top 450cc injectors can i install them and drive with them without tuning? I'll be running a aem fpr and aem fuel rail. Do i just adjust the fuel pressure on the fpr to work with the 450cc's? what pressure would i be using? Stock?
