highway RPM's
i have a d16z6 engine and at 70mph i hit a little less than 3000rpm on 5th gear, does that help? But i have a dx trans, i don't know how different it will be on the si trans
Ah no worries, the 5th on the DX and Si were the same from the transmissions I've compared (I'm in market for a 5-speed swap). Should be the same, could be different depending on year of transmission, of course.
[edit to not bump old post: Right, I forgot about final drive.]

The Dx trans has longer gearing, you will not be doing under 3k at 70mph with and si trans.

That doesn't mean the transmissions are the same.
Op with and si trans you should be doing about 3500-4k going 70 mph. If its gas your worried about It's not that big of a deal.
I have a y8 running on a y5 ecu with a 95 si trans and I still get 40 miles to the gallon with no spirited driving.
