SO just replaced my Grill.. but

Default SO just replaced my Grill.. but

just replaced my stock grill on my 99 civic ex.. but when i went to put the bumper back on the 2 bolts on the bottom just keep falling out.. will the bumper hold up for a while without them untill i can get a ramp and drill new holes?

Although it may hold for a long while, I wouldn't press my luck. without the bolts on the bottom of the bumper, you are depending on the side screws that attach to the fender and the clips across the top of the grille and 2 clips beside the grille. Keep in mind your grille is only held on by 4 small screws.

Like I said, you could be OK for a while but I would not drive it any more than you have to before you get it fixed. What happened? Did the captive nuts strip out or pull out? Or did the bolts break off and you have to make new holes?

ok thx for info, na the bolts didnt break off in there just when i tighten them if i push the bumper just a little they fall out.. i guess the thread is just bad.. ill have to end up making new holes..
