after cluster swap fuel gauge stays on empty sometimes when turn car ign. on slightly moves up then back down other times goes to full then after like being on a minute goes back to empty...help....crx with gsr cluster

 

what car is this in for staters?

and also the obd difference between years in cars can be a big issue as some wires dont go to the same place,

an easy fix is to take your original gauge cluster (assuming you have one) and swapping the green circuit film on the back to your new gauge cluster,

most of the time that will solve the issue, if it doesnt pull out your helms manual and look up troubleshooting the fuel gauge

the ohms readings are most likely different

 

What write-up did you use? Sounds like missing/wrong wire or bad ground.
