Default What to replace when removing the head?

The head is off the car.

When it comes to time to reinstall what do I need to replace bolts, gaskets, seals etc.?

On a side note,

Are ARP head studs and bolts the best stuff to use?

head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, intake manifold gasket, timing belt (not necessary but a smart move>why not?) and thats about all i can think of if you want to do it right

the reason i know is because my head is at the machine shop right now and i have the gaskets/belt sitting in the corner of my room

exhaust manifold gasket, intake manifold gasket
if you have spare $ to burn, sure, but if not, **** it. I'd suggest new head bolts... not a big deal to re-stretch one time... x2 is pushing it.

hey man, for ~$9 for an exhaust manifold gasket and possibly upgrade to the hondata intake manifold gasket and get some power (3-9% horsepower increase, as the dynos show).....it's worth it.......why not do it right and have piece of mind/confidence that nothing will go wrong!??!

arp is a good option if your in the habbit of removing your head all the time, or will see increased cylinder pressures.

I'd like to see these dynos. I think the hondata gasket will give you more consistent hp...not more hp. You will lose less hp as the engine heats up.

upgrade to the hondata intake manifold gasket and get some power (3-9% horsepower increase, as the dynos show)
