removing head questions
Iight guys, I'm in the process of removing my head to change my headgasket. I know that I will need a new headgasket, arp head bolts, and intake/exhaust gasket. What else should I get?

i just did my head gasket yesterday..only thing i bought was the gasket. you dont NEED arp bolts..unless you plan on taking the head on and off more than once or twice. you dont even need to take the intake manifold off..my exhaust gasket was metal luckily and not paper, but it would be good to get one.

go to Kragen and get the head gasket kit.. that'll be everything you need to change out all your old gasket/seals.

Buy the head gasket set from the dealer it also comes with cam seals and other seals that you have to change for this process.

I would use a OEM Honda one, not aftermarket.

Re: removing head questions (98 Spec R)
Are you sure I could re-use the stock headbolts? Because, I read somewhere that it is already strech and I won't be able to get the right torque on it.
