Default cluster

i was wondering if my crx cluster will fit into my new ef hatch...the ef dont have a tach and i'm going to be going k in the crx so i wont need that cluster

I think the crx one is a different size than the hatch one but you can try it.

might depend on what year your crx and civic are if the connectors for the cluster are different, but it should work fine. all the wires should hook up with no problem and no mods needed. i put a junkyard crx cluster in my 89 civic std and everything, tach included worked just as it should. and no, they are not different sizes.

if the civic dont have a tach how would u connect a crx cluster into the civic dont you need a cable for the RPM ?

I put a 90 Si cluster in my 91 Dx civic and didnt have to change a thing

i took out my cluster for my crx already to do a k swap into my rex and i had to unplug the speedo cable and then like 2 plugs for the for the lights in the cluster and the tach

Its plug and play, your already wired for the tach just plug it in you will be fine.
No the speedo cable is only for the speedo.
The rpm gauge is electric, which your plugs already have the wires hooked into them.
