Default Bout to go on a road trip on bike..Have some questions

Well me and my friend are headed to the beach this friday and I was wondering what all i need to check on the bike to make sure that its in good working condition and fluids are all good.

I don't know much about bikes so thats why Im hoping some of you guys can help because I do not have an owners manual for the bike to read over before I go. (I have one ordered but won't be here by friday).

Its a 2003 RC51 that I own and what fluids do I need to check and how do I check them? or get to them to check them?

Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Here is your checklist for a road trip:

Is the bike an RC51?

Yes? Then don't go on a road trip

Its a sport bike, what other reason do you need?

OP:
As long as maintenance is up to date, you should be fine. Just pick up some ice mix for your back once you finish your trip.

Well its really not that bad. I ride around for hours at a time going from county to county and its not that bad. I think me and a friend rode for about 3 hrs straight the other day and my wrist got tired from twisting the throttle but other then that it was ok.

Its not that far as some of you imagine but will probably be the longest trip I have taken on the bike.

Its about a 4hr ride if you stop once. I'll be taking all the back roads because I have come to find out riding the interestate for more then..um about 5 min is about boring as hell. Couldn't imagine staying on it for 2 hrs, so all back roads to get there and maybe a few extra stops along the way.

Well thats the issue there, I just got the bike maybe a month ago, I don't know anything about how it was taken care of. Thats why I'm asking. I bought it from a dealer but i don't know what all they do with used stuff other then maybe a visual inspection or something.
