hi im kinda a newb at cars, but im trying to learn alot. btw i have a 91 accord ex-r 4dr stick shift.i got it for only $500, some minor probs, i fix them. Ive been searching around to fix the speedometer... the speeometer, therometer, crusie and heat sensor on the cluster doesnt work. i heard it would be a loose wire or so, but im unsure... please help

The first place to check is Fuse number one / 10 amp, in the dash fuse panel by the drivers side kick panel

If the blinkers work then chances are it's not the fuse.
The new speed sensor from the dealer is $189. If you got a friend at the shop then you can get it for around $150. Third party is around $75 but not sure if it would work.
I just got mine changed out for $150 and $35 labor. It's easy to change but just had the dude replaced it for $35.
