Car Security Advice...
With theft occuring on a daily basis, I really need to invest in security for my R. I got a basic POS alarm on my caR right now that would prolly do nothing if someone tried to steal it. A few different random cars have come down my dead end road lately and have stopped and looked at my car when ive had my caR out and its making me real uneasy. I need some advice on what to do with my car to keep it safe as possible. I need a top of the line alarm and some type of lojack/gps to go along with the alarm. Right now im thinking about the Compustar Pro with fuel cut offs, but i thought lo jack was the #$%@, but now im hearing its not all that great and gps systems are just as good. Anyone know anything about car security that could help me out quickly.
Keep it in a secure garage, CompuStar alarm, kill switches, GPS tracking, two autolocs, the club, a boot for your wheel, and disconnect your door locks (This keeps thieves from being able to master key your car)

Fixed that for you! **** thieves.

Is LoJack worth it? I got a price qoute of $900 installed. I heard Lojack is only good within a certain amount of miles. I dont mind spending the extra money on security, I just want to get my money worth. Im definitly going to do compustar alarm i just want other backups. What other specific products are reliable that i can look into? Any info will help. Thanksss for the info so far!

GPS and Lo-Jack are not failsafe. I could knock both offline in about ten seconds.
Layered security is the best.

Truth in this. Keeping quiet about security and even ownership helps. Though some people obviously have already cruised your house.
GPS > lojack. Lojack depends on the police picking up the signal. I'd prefer to track heR online myself. Whatever alarm you get, it needs to have a full stealth install. No corners cut, no wires/siren exposed, no easy access to anything. I find it amazing how many people still have their siren in plain sight under the hood.
The Club and Autolock are useless. It takes less than a minute to remove each one. Full wheel-boot is one great layer.
I'm not sure if this would be more of a pain to you, especially if you DD, but since you have some people checking heR out recently.....maybe even remove some "smash n grab" items like floor mats/shift ****/armrest/whatnot.
Best of luck mang, hope nothing happens
